I’ve always wondered why these evil conspiracies that are brainy enough to have actual, functioning space programs (it is after all, rocket science), never seem to have the common sense to realize that simply commercializing their space program would bring forth a gusher of cash that would dwarf their potential ill gotten gains, would bring them world wide adulation, and also have the authorities defend them instead of persecute them.

Let us not forget the royalties for the movies documenting their program not to mention the licensing fees for the action figures and other spin offs.
