I haven’t had to deflate pool toys for quite a few years now, but I would use a Shop-Vac. It would get all of the air out and I could fold them up for storage.
Since we were not going out – and have basically no grass in front of the house – it was June before we saw the backyard. We are not sure what we are going to do – we will have to pay someone to deal with it (which if we could afford to do so they would be dealing with it all the time). There are weed trees taller than me (5’1") plus husband never did the annual kill the poison ivy treatment so it mixed in and climbing up the house.

Piles of leaves are no longer burned, because of the contribution to air pollution.

Ralph’s got a long wait ahead of him. What’s more important: Not raking leaves or missing dinner for a few days?

After a scorching heat and a drought, my garden loved it when I emptied the pool. I now have green grass.

As I recall, the damn things had plenty of leaves in them the first day after you blew them up. No need to wait for fall.

Neighborhood kids will dive into the pool of leaves.
