There was a time when grown-ups made all the children. But with puberty coming so ridiculously early these days, children can now reproduce themselves. Adults really are obsolete! (Except for paying the bills of course…)
And that means that in 10 years he’s screwed. Apparently his great wisdom doesn’t have the quality of forethought he believes it does.
Maybe he should question the premise of whether it would be better to be in power for 18 years or to be in power for 30-70+yrs?
To correlate that to something… remember the old baby boomer adage back in the day… “don’t trust anyone over 30” and implied that those of age are fools and wisdom came from youth. And now they are all in power and want us to trust them and follow their wisdom… as they are all over 30. Hmmm.

Sounds like too many parents style of “parenting today. Working in a school cafeteria helps you not to judge parents too quickly or you’ll go nuts.
