Panel 1 looks like a still from “Family Guy”. It’s going to be difficult to steal this statue since it seems to be right against the new wall.
Sam has an idea. :Hey, Tracy, why don’t we just extend the wall to all around this thing? Once it’s all boxed in, we don’t have to worry about it. Besides, who’s going to buy this?"
“Probably Chumlee on Pawn Stars. This is a real issue Sam, and it doesn’t look like we’re going to get shot since no crooks in Tracyville have guns anymore.”
They put on their astronaut diapers and climb back into the car to commence their stake out.
Tracy turned his reversible coat inside out in between panels. That white thing behind Sam looks almost lewd. Go hang out at Dopey Donuts with Flo; this thing aint going anywhere in a hurry.
Easy solution. Just park yourself at the statue for the next 24 plus hours, and see who shows up or what happens. I am guessing that the new ornamental wall will have something to do with a disappearance if it happens.
Aurora Rising is not very inspiring, is it? In fact, it looks rather pathetic back there in that stark setting up against The Wall. I guess Sam and Tracy just wanted to familiarize themselves with the setting in case some action develops. But what is with that dinky little car of theirs? Undercover VW Beetle, or something like it?
So, if Presto steals the statue (I assume it is the one we see) where is he going to hide it? It is a huge monstrosity and will need both a tall and large room unless he hopes to chop it up in which case he will get no ransom.
The statue is likely similar to the Picasso in Chicago. It was not actually built by Picasso but by a foundry who fabricated it from Picasso’s designs. If it becomes damaged, the specs are there to fabricate it again.
The decorative part of that wall is the trap door disguised as a brick wall that that will slide open and the statue will slide into when Presto makes it disappear. The wall being taller than the statue could easily contain a hidden room large enough to hide the thing.

Well, they had better come up with a plan before the statue vanishes.

The role of Aurora will be played by Mrs. Margaret Dumont in our little drama.

DT: What’re we gonna do for jobs when The Wall is finished and effectively keeps all criminals out of Tracyville, Sam?
SAM: Sell ladders until we’re needed again.

There’s a glitch or two, but I’m enjoying Jorge’s art.

Once again, most of comments are better than the story, and in this case, the art

At first I thought it was flattop but then realised it suppose to be Sam.

Art’s not bad. Maybe not fitting a Dick Tracy story. But then, the story is struggling worse than the art.

I think it would be hilarious if the face on the statue was Gravel Gertie.
