I used to know all that Jewish holiday stuff, learned from Jewish friends ar Emory University.
One thing I miss… the “tricorn hat” cookies that always appeared for Purim.
The fillings were pretty wonderful, even the very basic ones with prunes and apricots. But the two fillings that I really loved were the vanilla poppy seed ones and the rosewater pistachio marzipan ones.
I need to find a source for ready mades or follow one of the online recipes for these.
First step in the New Year is repentance—getting right with God and man. Rat is still just a shaky novice at this, but let us at least give him (partial) credit for trying.
