The joke would not work if it wasn’t obvious (because of the masks) that there was a problem.

Good work with the masks! Betty has always dealt with contemporary issues, and I’m happy to see the strip integrate the pandemic into its daily life, just like its readers have to.

I always put my receiving hand close enough to the nozzle so I don’t miss. Force of habit. MD with lots of practice.

Ever since I discovered hand sanitizer is an excellent paint remover I’ve been of two minds about using the stuff.

That gel seems to plug up the nozzle and it squirts out at unsuspecting angles.

Clearly Betty has yet to manage the one handed cover and swoosh for preventing exactly such gaffs. Sigh … and I’ve been in the same boat.
