Drunk as usual.

@Number Thee Today’s strip is slightly funny and a repeat what sense does it make for our HERO Mr Andrew Capp being carted into the football field when he is blind drunk? :o) which reminds me of the time when my friend and I got drunk on a cheap bottle of plonk , my friend recovered first and brought me home and scarpered , I spent the next 2 hours with my dad holding a pail for me to barf in , I miss my dad :o{ , my avatar is a picture of my birth sign Leo roaring his head off because he is in a good mood like I am ;o) how was your day in the sun? our day should be busy but calm I hope , all the plumbing is ready and this evening I’ll be having my fav nosh :o) take care and BCNU pal

Thump thump, bump bump, here comes Andy drunk as a skunk.

Is it a foul if Andy tosses his cookies on an opposition player? I don’t recall ever seeing that in any rule book for an sport.

That first tackle is gonna hurt both players!!

Usually the thump, thump means he has a hangover, but he seems drunk.

Jack Benny had a great gag like this on radio. His band leader asked if Jack could give their drummer a ride to the train station: “Okay, where should I pick him up?” “Under the arms like we always do…”

I figured Andys pick me up was a pint.

You never know what might be handy on any given day.

Hopefully Chalkie is finding every bump on the way to the field. That might teach Andy that drinking heavily before a game, but I doubt it.

Sometimes I get the sinking feeling that Andy is living on barrowed time! :D

Andy calls that his pregame warmup, which looks a lot like his post game cool down.

Now I know why there is a sponge in the bucket.

And he’s in his usual playing shape.

I would love somebody to push me around in one of those when I can’t be bothered to walk.

But luckily, I can be bothered to walk. And I do.

Hey, Affie.

My avatar today is no other than your very own Number Three posing in her bathroom doing the “peace” sign. The photo was taken a few days ago. So very recent.

It’s not me that stands out though. It’s that gorgeous wallpaper which I believe my parents chose. My cousin’s partner wants that for their bathroom!

The sun did come out today but only for a short while. It’s been nothing but awful wind and clouds.

Well, I’ll see you after the weekend. But I’m still here until turnover. Enjoy your favourite nosh, pal.

In one classic Andy Capp strip, the Vicar is looking for players for a church football game. He inquires who the best player is. Andy says “me, when I’m sober.” Obviously hesitant, the Vicar asks who’s second best, Andy replies “me, when I’m drunk.”

Does Chalkie have to push him around the pitch, too?
