I generally wouldn’t go to a doctor who has a cigarette dangling from his mouth while he’s examining me. Although it is pretty impressive how he keeps it from falling in the middle panel.
The cigarette scene reminds me of how it used to be in the 60’s and early 70’s.Docs and nurses smoked at the nursing station, break rooms in the hospital.And a surgeon that could break scrub in the middle of a case to step out of the OR suite to the hallway to have a smoke. Yup! True story. We really have come a long way.

I have had relationships that have been a real pain in that area. Terminate the relationship and the pain goes away immediately.

I tell people who claim second hand smoke isn’t bad for you that they could lean down and blow smoke in a newborn’s face and feel fine about it.
