He kind of reminds me of Beast from the X-Men.

So “Combos” are an actual product? I never knew they existed before today’s strip. I was wondering what Rip and the blue alien were going on about until I did an Amazon search. What aisle would I look on to find them in my local grocery store?

Aha. Just what the alien astronaut theorists had always suspected. Aliens are somehow involved in all this racket!

A big, furry, blue alien that runs on combos. I guess it beats little green men from mars.

Combos are pretzel nuggets wrapped around a center of cheese, or, etc.

Blue Cheese?! KA-YUCK!

I knew if I read this strip long enough, space aliens would be involved.

How did Rip’s flowing locks turn into a mullet?

Wait…an alien. And Rip has sweet, sweet hair? Is Rip channeling his inner Giorgio Tsoukalos? Or did Dan watch an Ancient Aliens marathon on History Channel?

He looks like an alien being who will grant three wishes to anyone who frees him.

When Rip took the time to shave, couldn’t he have given himself a haircut? The mullet look doesn’t work for him (or for anyone, for that matter).
