Guess it works better either when it’s dark or when there isn’t a power cut? Or am I missing something?

I use energy saving bulbs as much as possible and they light up a room just fine.

Not installing it in the first place would have saved even more energy.

It must use those Darkness-Emitting Diodes (DEDs). 100% efficiency! A natural byproduct of the manufacture of LEDs! Lasts forever!

(Full disclosure: I stole this joke from something I read when LEDs were the newest thing.)

It may save energy, but it sure blows the zip-a-tone budget.

Have to admit, after my first comment, and given some thought, a light bulb that doesn’t work would save the most electricity. After all, it says energy saving light, not a specific type of light bulb.

It’s just a very low wattage darksucker bulb. The premium price is for the “Eco” label; luckily that includes the bio and vegan options.
