Humans are a lost cause.

Good thing trees and animals are caring, empathetic beings capable of long-term strategic thinking.

so wild animals do long term planing?

actually, humans don’t change. They keep making the same mistakes over and over again. And they cannot figure out why it never gets any better.

The problem with all of us is those of us who don’t care will, for a very short while, be glad to be rid of those of us who do care.

CHAOS rules!

Like most Americans, I was raised to only care about myself, and I’m not going to change now.

That degree of change is more of an Evolutionary advance. But since so many reject the Science it will only happen behind the scenes without our participation.

Humanity is a failed experiment.

While I enjoy this strip I often wonder, in these moments where such judgement of people are made, whether Fry (or any of the authors of comics) considers himself to be in this group or not.

I find these cartoons ironic: There’s no evidence that other animal species are better than humans at empathy or long-term thinking.

No species has survived a billions years; humans will probably go extinct but not before your student loan is paid off.
