I’m not sure what happened, but GoComics was supposed to make sure this ran about twice this size. If you have trouble reading this at this size then, please go to my site which has a larger version:
On the other hand, the three seen in the top panel look an awful lot like Johnny and Sue Storm and a younger Reed Richards… not sure if the arm on the far left belongs to a pre-transformation Ben Grimm.
I didn’t know who Jack Kirby was until I was in my early teens and bought The New Gods and The Forever People, as part of my DC buying habit. The only issue to survive basement flooding and Mom is The New Gods, #8, May 1972. Not sure how to describe his style at that time — Other-worldly? Futuristic? — but I love it.
I knew a fellow who never bought a newspaper. He figured someone would leave one lying around and if it mattered, it didn’t matter that it was a bit late. He actually knew more of the contents of the paper than the first user tended to know.

Looks like Clark Kent is putting in a special guest appearance on this Marvel entry, and he lost the script.

All hail King Kirby. And John for this re-dialogue, Last Kiss is always good for a laugh.

By the way, I GoComics has fixed the panel width problem. Today’s comic is now bigger, better and funnier!

Yeah, but if you’re doing Marvel panels, how come the future cop looks like Superman? (Check that forehead curl…)
