Wow, then they put in ten or so small offices. This is way more beautiful. Wally could open a historical buildings restauration firm.

OK, lady, get out your hand-held device and get to work. Better yet, ask (politely) for the dittos to find the gateway you want.

Love panel three and Wally’s expression. He’s not backing down one bit! Good for him. If Dr. Amesworth wants to be in charge, then she needs to stop being a bully.

Listen, lady, do you want to find out what’s what, or do you just want to be obeyed?

    Why is everyone so testy?

Something like the end of their home universe?

In Amesworth’s case, she has lost her homing signal.

Toothbrushes that used to be people coming for you in an all-engulfing swarm?

Topsider ethics and mutant ethics in collision.

Naw, they’re just having a whole lot of bad days…

Glad for the change of pace today.

Until this released, I was thinking how this arc was becoming very much like the Unity arc, toward the end, with the raccoon setting fire to the entire place.

On an even more optimistic note: Perhaps Wally’s not killing any toothbrushes will be noted – by the toothbrushes.

I’m still hoping that, even though they have “mutated” into toothbrushes, there is still humanity in them.
