Is this a flashback? Or is this meanwhile at the top-siders’ research base…

This is probably “meanwhile, back at the ranch”. Specifically a followup to the conversation about sneaking in an order for supplies to repair the equipment. (02/05/2020). Looks like the Dimemsion Project won’t be repairing the gate any time soon. And, there’s a wall camera behind Trent and Blake.

Positioning of characters makes it difficult to tell if one of them is a female. Clearly, Trent isn’t.

But I’m wondering if this Blake is our Amesworth.

Hence her kind of flipping out when Wally “refused” an order.

Big Eye is watching… and listening…

There is nothing wrong with your video stream. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. Eye is controlling transmission. If Eye wishes to make it louder, Eye will bring up the volume. If Eye wishes to make it softer, Eye will tune it to a whisper. Eye will control the horizontal. Eye will control the vertical. Eye can roll the image, make it flutter. Eye can change the focus to a soft blur, or sharpen it to crystal clarity. Be quiet and Eye will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: There is nothing wrong with your video stream. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to… Infinity and Beyond.

Apologies to the Outer Limits folks…

Wally and company will never find the portal unless they get the necessary equipment to get it open. A portable dimensionometer would be nice but I only know of one……and Marx has that.

Remember that rates of time with respect to other dimensions seem to vary. Especially if you are a Marx…

So, they execute for audit failure?!

Dr. Amesworth is likely thinking in the back of her mind that her lab techs are working as fast as they can to restore the link and she’ll be able to eventually escape the mess she’s in. Well, they are attempting to, but Big Brother is watching.

We’ll see if she ends up stuck permanently with Wally & Co. If that happens, I wonder how she’ll react when she realizes that fact?

Trent: “Ok, I’ll level with you. We’re tracking down the event horizon that’s going to wipe out all existence as we know it, and we need new equipment to prevent that from happening.”

Blake: “What’s with you lab guys? You’re the fifth project group this week to make the same claim. You want new equipment, take it out of petty cash like everyone else.”

Meanwhile Ms. Amesworth is still somewhere…out there…

Who’s willing to wager that these Topsiders will be meeting Dr. Amesworth and company very soon via interdimensional portal? ;/

Trent: hoping that nobody will ask where Dr Amesworth is.
