I’d call my Mom. But I would need a Medium, like Shoe’s Zoo Doo, to make the connection. And I don’t know of any Mediums that can do the job.

My parents used to be snowbirds and go to Florida every Winter. I used to call my mom practically everyday and I remember one time apologizing in calling her so much. Now, I wish I could call her at least one time. My advice is to make the time to call people you love as life is short and they make our world a little place to be in.

That’s true, everyone. Father Time only travels one way; Make the best use of every opportunity we have. They NEVER,EVER come back. 2 Samuel 12:23- “Can I bring him back? I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”

When you think to, call/reach out to your loved ones. You’ll never regret THAT, but when you can’t…

I am so thankful my mom is still here. She is declining, but still able to take care of herself with a little help. She is living with my sister, so she is not on her own. She would be MISERABLE in a nursing home.

My parents are celebrating their 72nd wedding anniversary today. It will be their last as Dad is fading past. I think he was holding out the last week in order to make it to this day. Their minds are still good and they are still able to be at home. I’m fortunate to be able to see them every day. It will be a big change.

Never wait for an excuse to talk to your parents. You never know when your last chance to do so will be.

My mom died the Friday before Easter in 1989. I’d taken that Thursday off and all day I kept thinking I should go see her, but I was planning on going over on Saturday to color Easter eggs and it was inconvenient to make a special trip on Thursday.

Mine passed away the moment the sun and the moon recognized Spring. Afterward my dad passed away on her birthday. Knew of some couples who passed away on the same day, some knowing about it and some not.

I call my mom just to hear her voice. She’s in her early 80s and I don’t know when I won’t be able to do that anymore.

My mom and I haven’t spoken for awhile now, we had a huge fight and she won’t talk to me, she asks my dad how I am doing seeing that I live in the apartment below him. This comic and all the comments make me thing I should offer the olive branch and reach out to her myself, she is 70 years old and not in the best of health and lives 6500 miles away and I never know when it will be here last day.
