If I was served bread that dry and hard, I’d return it too!
Actually, before this stupid virus shut everything down, my friends and I used to go to lunch at the food court in the mall once a month. One time Julia tried out a new place that had recently opened. She had just started eating her sandwich when she discovered mold on her bread. She returned her sandwich, but not without an argument from the person running that place “We just got the bread today!”, they claimed. They probably served a lot of moldy bread because within about 2 months, that business closed down. The same people ran another eating place in the food court and that one quickly closed too. I haven’t been to the food court in several months now. I think the last time we got together was February. In March, we called it off because Julia was sick and then the virus put an end to any more gatherings. But so many places there were going out of business – Arby’s, Rocky Roccoco and so many others. With the mall & food court closed for months, I wonder how many places are open now in the food court.
Update on Yesmin. The whole family stayed in today and discussed how to keep watch on Yesmin. She has 2 brothers, 3 and 5 so I don’t think they will pay attention. Her sister, Melissa, 14 will probably do the most watching. Then there is a young aunt and uncle (in early 20s) who live with them, and have a wee baby. Both girls do their virtual school at my daughter’s house. Monday is a holiday, so Tuesday will be back to school day. Basically, all is well and all are getting some rest.
Is that bread made with flour or cement? Love today’s comic with it’s rye humor. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.) On another note, saw a Stellar’s jay, two juncos, and a rabbit while out walking today.

That’s definitely ciabatta. Of course the dust and cat hair makes it hard to be sure.

A better business model involves learning from product returns. Also saves on the broken glass.

I think the cats need to realize they will never turn a profit.

They will never profit running a kitchen, but I would pay for a stay in their hotel. Plus Oliver and Rufous would get huge tips!

This bread, and kitties have been “loafing “ too long! …yup…I went there!
PoodleGroomer about 4 years ago
If it broke a window, somebody has bad bread or a great arm, maybe both. Punting a loaf would hurt your foot.
