Maybe it’s just me but I think it would be funnier to have had Andy speaking in the last bubble? Nonetheless, It’s a good one today.Hmm? Just a thought maybe they had children and just maybe they were sold for beer funds…
Er… as a British commentator on this strip and knowing something of the back-history, may I say that Andy and Flo did indeed have a son, Buster Capp? He never appeared in the Daily Mirror strip, but was invented to be the lead character in a children’s comic, where he got up to Andy-lite antics. (Flo and Andy appeared as his mum and dad: Andy was seen to approve of his son’s layabout ways and get-rich-quick scams, leaving Flo to administer maternal justice). This was in the 1960’s. While the childrens’ comic featuring Buster Capp sank into obscurity after a fifteen year run, in the early 1990’s, the Daily Mirror started to run a strip called, at first, Mandy Capp, and then just Mandy: the implication being that in the intervening thirty years, Buster had married and presented Andy and Flo with a grand-daughter. Mandy Capp is a sasy young woman of indeterminate age, perhaps late twenties, a single mother raising a daughter on her own and contemptuous of all men. She is perhaps a Flo for the 21st century: seeing no need to respect “till death us do part” when clearly married to a waster. She is capable of delivering a devastating punch to any man irritating her, smokes, drinks and tells it like it is. and thus the Capp family carries on…

Dad always was sharper than Mom. Look what they got for a son-in-law.
