Annie deserves an “Annie Day”, but it should honor her for her kindness, love and patience. They ought to be bringing her gifts, not destroying things. Chesney, you are such a brat!

National Acorn Squash Day. I have lots of butternut squash in my garden and some are pretty big, but I don’t see any acorn squash out there that are ripe yet.

Good grief, he never gets it. But he is a cat, so I forgive him. We are getting a massive amount of smoke from the terrible wildfire eating up the western Sierra at least 60 miles away – the one that 200+ trapped campers were helicoptered out of in the middle of the night. The air is so unhealthy that yesterday nearly all campers on our east side headed home a day early. There are no storms in the long range forecast, and 30+ mph winds are expected tomorrow.

Years from now, in some far away comic land…they will explore the warehouse, and surely on the loading dock will be fossilized remnants of the orange menaces derrière!

She’s got nothing and it’s still too fragile with cats around.

I don’t know the story of Annie, the warehouse and all of the kitties. I’ve read about Route 9, but that’s the only one.

Looks like you are resting more than your case, Chesney. You will never learn……sigh!

There must be a better way to commemorate Annie Day than smashing up a vase. I’m sure Oliver could think of something nice. On another note, saw four dragonflies, a sparrow and two rabbits while out walking today. I also saw a wren outside.
