I don’t suppose they know that he got eaten by a tornado…

He was a lot further ahead than they know.

So far a lot of ‘em have lost themselves in the translation. Who have we met who’s still themselves?

It looks like a bunch of miniature TV screens overlapping one another. Good luck on sorting that out without going crazy yourselves!

That explains the elaborate diagrams Ravenscroft drew on the walls of his apartment.

“You don’t have to be crazy to work here, but it does help.”

Well, he did learn that there was trouble coming! And he was right. It was coming for him! If these guys knew that, they’d just shut down this device.

And then he flew the coop!

Exactly what “results” have they all achieved? Mucking about with reality will get you bitten in the backside. It’s called Karma.

Evidently Ravenscroft left the Topsider colony before completely adjusting to his new anthro form. Memories do return, at least mostly. Wally remembered his pre-anthro life, but didn’t realize he only had four fingers and not five. It took Jim and Sarah a while to remember who they used to be and why they chose to go anthro (her cancer diagnosis, his love for her).

But Ravenscroft wasn’t running that colony, he was a weird outcast. Something else was going on.

I do not suffer from insanity, I rather enjoy it, actually.

Lets see…..one from column A and two from column B. This may be their undoing…..if Eye is watching this may be what it is looking for……a map of all the known realities.

It’s nice to see some pragmatic topsiders with the bigger picture in mind that are just trying to make SOMETHING work for everyone.

I can’t help but think of the similarly-named Dr. VeNKman from Ghostbusters, also a hack with a desperate desire to prove himself in a “questionable” field of science.

For a moment I thought you said TOMATO….. (hums theme to “The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes”)
