I’m surprised GA did not take time for a special strip to honor the troupes of different branches of military to honor all who have and had served for our freedom. I thank all of you veterans and to families who lost loved ones as well.

I don’t know if this will make any difference here or not – but over at comics.com, there is a sign up which says that on June 1, comics.com will be merging with Go Comics. I don’t know if that means that the comics which still appear at comics.com – such as Dinette Set – will be moving to Go Comics – or if it just means that there will no longer be an alternate board we can all go to when Go Comics fails to post our favorite comics – such as Gasoline Alley. Fortunately, Gasoline Alley is in the line-up for both Go Comics and at comics.com – so Gasoline Alley won’t be affected – unless ALL of the boards go wonky while TIIC are making the transition.
I am thinking that Jim may be waiting until tomorrow to do his tribute. Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day and was originally for the purpose of honoring the Civil War dead – both North and South. Gone – but not forgotten!
