They work better when you give them screen names.

Well, Ethel, that’s not the way this works. That’s not the way any of this works.

I’m on two screens now, but there’re times that I wish that I had a third…

Hey, Dave!!! If they were flies, they’d have windows with multiple (Fly) screens!

At work, I have a four screen setup, but it’s more annoying than useful. Not my choice, though.

Oddly enough, she’ll probably get more work done.

I finally got a 2nd screen going at home. I learned, after I bought the wiring and splitter, that VGA doesn’t have the ability to extend screens to a 2nd monitor. I currently have 1 VGA monitor hooked up, and 1 DVI. So either $60.00 wasted, or an education at half the price of having someone out to work on my system, plus the ability to use technical jargon so people will think I know what I’m talking about.

I do have to admit, I have “screen envy.” I’m jealous of people’s whose are bigger than mine.

I have a friend who runs a web development company. She has 6 screens in her office. I only have two on opposite side of my desk. Straight ahead is the window that overlooks the lake.

Maybe you should complain to IT instead. They would ‘love’ to hear from you.

Typical client of “The IT Crowd” (British comedy on Netflix, well worth watching).

I remember, years back, setting up some large dual monitor setups for some “advanced” scientists who were using some high-end CAD programs of the time… and wondering why they came back asking for a whole bunch of new mouse pads. When I went to check out their problem, I found that they had “extended” their mouse pads by placing books and whatever end-to-end right beside them… they didn’t realize that they could lift their mouse and keep moving the pointer – they thought that they had to hold the mouse down continually while moving the pointer, and with the additional monitor picture area they were running out of mouse pad real estate…
