I have been working from home for over 31 years as I started when we were in our apartment. I go out to accounting clients – used to be about 5 days a month, before stay at home twice a year, and now not at all – just work at home.
Husband quit his job 11 years ago due to burn out and he works from the computer across from me doing counseling online through a website that helps people do so. We also have a handcrafted business from home on websites and down to (before this year) 2 craft shows a year (as craft shows here have become junk shows and hard to sell a handcrafted leather belt for $20 when the next booth has imported ones for $5 or hand woven scarves for $30 when the next booth has commercially made ones for same $5).

The best part of all this… no traffic! I’m fine with working from home!

My last teaching job before I retired (again) was at an online high school. The commute was tough; first the coffee pot, then downstairs.
