Dean: Honest, Heart! I didn't know that note was from you! Carmen said it was from Kat! Heart: So now you're gonna go to the springtime cotillion with Kat even though I'm the one who asked you?! Dean: I don't know! I ....I... Dean: Holy vulcans! It's the kobayashi maru...the no win scenario! Just like in "star trek 2: the wrath of Khan"! There is no right answer! This is just a test of character! Dean: Shield up! Brace for impact! Heart: On second thought, I'll just go stag.

Let’s see you cheat your way out of this one, Captain Dean! Surely you don’t believe in the no-win scenario!!

To win the Kobayashi Maru did require Kirk to cheat. Does cheating here imply bringing both ladies to the dance?

Wait, Kat knew who the note was from. It seems Carmen & Dean should be the only ones confused, until Dean shows up to take Kat to the dance.

I bet Kat did this on purpose – I think she’s on her eye on Dean for a while and was just waiting for the right moment…

Dean did win the Kobayashi Maru scenario! He ran off with his shields up didn’t he and Heart gave up.

At least Dean recognizes the Kobayashi Maru scenario — over at “For Better or For Worse” John is flying blind!

Nah she’s a demoncrat, didn’t you see her getting everyone else to do her for her? That way she can blame everything on someone else thus avoiding the need for personal responsibility in the first place.
