well, where else would it be?
Unless Wallace skins that beast, the teacher will be finding scales for the next five years.
What did she expect from a Fisherman’s son?
He’s going to be in a LOT of trouble. Imagine… bringing a knife to school!
Scooch on over here Wallace so I can give you a big squeeze!
On the other hand, I think I will skip lunch today!
Some teachers get apples.. some get a heart-shaped puddle of fish juice!
(Dad’s gonna catch hell when Ms. McClellan learns he’s been out fishing for strippers.)
How nice! Wallace is even going to filet it for her. Class dismissed.
HA!
I like the traditional x’s for deceased striper’s eyes. Also the little bit of fish tail visible in the 4th panel.
At least he’s offering to filet it. That’s excellent service!
Better than an apple.
What a thoughtful child!
Better than an apple. But it’s going to smell really bad.
You couldn’t smell that it was in his backpack?
But hey—Wallace probably figured you’d prefer it fresh anyway, so…
Put an extra “p” in there, and the whole tenor of the comic changes…
Tomorrow. Lobster.
I’m just shocked that he knows how to filet!
I learned to clean fish in the waters of Wasilla lake in 1958. I was six, Alaska was not yet a state and Sarah Palin lived elsewhere.
I got to tell you – my Mom would have scooched right over put some of the homeworks down to protect the desk whipped out the hibachi and treated the class to lunch.
The Full Service Student. Plus, Mrs. Macintosh, I have some seaweed on the bottom of my pack so if you put the rice steamer on we’ll give sushi a go.
If she loves Striper that much she shouldn’t be adverse to helping him filet it.
That seagull gets everywhere.
I sense a grade schooler with a crush on his teacher – we’ve all been there!
And she will be able to identify his homework for the rest of the year.
Boil up some rice and get out the nori and we can have sushi right here, right now.
I’ll take the apple….
I don’t think anyone is going to want to sit near Wallace today, except seagulls.
He looks so pleased.
