I figured it out. Tarzan is using all those guys in frame 2 to help him.

So the really evil guy is left to live and all of the guards, who were only doing what they were hired to do by the evil guy, get killed. Hmmm. Not the moral I expected from a Tarzan story.

why is Tarzan wearing a loin cloth. I am sure Lord Greystoke could have afforded a pair of black khaki’s for this little trip

Tarzan murders a dozen or so hirelings and leaves them in the gardens like corpses on a battlefield, and then merely threatens the prime perpetrator with a crazygaze and “if you ever …” warning.

The Lord of the Apes has his priorities skewed.

Too bad for all the dead henchmen but I guess they knew what they signed up for.

So he leaves her in the middle of the wilderness to fend for herself. What a guy.

Tarzans farewell looks like a finale—a final farewell. Was this the last new Sunday strip?
