Gotta agree with her… I’m a pilot that has a fear of heights (just not while flying) and I’ve always found that more than a bit ironic.

When I was younger I would climb and then jump (repel) off smaller cliffs (though never the real high ones). As I’ve gotten older I find I can’t get near a high edge and it even gives me the willies watching someone on the tube working from great heights. But I can stand an airplane on it’s wing and look straight down with out a problem… I don’t understand it, but I know it’s true (for me anyway).
