Ive been ordering out of print used books and paying as much as 10 to 15 dollars apiece for some of them

Found 5 on my list at a thrift store yesterday and gladly paid just under 13 dollars for all of them

This one still makes me chuckle after all these years.

Good luck trying to collect after they’ve already read it.

But calling it a “clam register” makes it sound like crustacean profiling…

And so, the cash register began.

And so specie is reborn in the world.
