I finally broke down and went to the eye Dr. Today. I tried to put it off as long as possible, I had to wear a mask and gloves and they took my temp. at the door. I need cataract surgery soon, but they aren’t doing any surgery for 6 months, providing the world doesn’t go crazy again. I did get new glasses, he said I won’t like the prescription, but they compensate for the cataracts. Anything is better than the foggy ones I’m wearing.

Good weed sends its message through the air. Acapulco Nip!

A lot of us are on the same page today.

My cats get pretty happy on catnip, but so far, I’ve never seen them actually take flight.

Today is:

The first day of October. Only 3 more months and this miserable year will be over. We can only hope that 2021 will be better.

National Hair Day. On October 1st, National Hair Day gives the nod to all the styles, products, tools and people who keep our hair healthy and looking its best.

Whether we are seeking a new cut or we’ve found the perfect one, we want to keep it looking as fresh as it was when we left the salon. The right styling tools and hair care products go a long way toward maintaining a healthy, luxurious hairstyle.

As for me, it’s been 2 years since I’ve been to any type of salon (actually, it was a spa) when my sister Mary treated me to a manicure, pedicure and hair coloring. Before that, it had been so many years since I was in any type of salon or beauty shop, I couldn’t even say how long it had been. More than 20 years for certain. I have nice, long, healthy hair and I use the inexpensive brands of shampoo (like Suave). No conditioners, no hot oil treatments, no curling irons or blow dryers (I let my hair dry naturally. That takes around an hour unless it’s a warm sunny day and I sit out in the sunshine to dry my hair). I wear it in a simple style, parted in the middle with bangs. No fancy styling for me.

So I will observe National Hair Day just being happy with my hair exactly the way it is right now.

Nippin’ kittens flittin’. :D

That’s quite some nip. Better let Mittens know about it.

Beautiful art work (shading) of those high flyin’ cats. If Lil Oliver could wrangle a sample of what the boys are growin’/sellin’ the DRORING on this strip would be incredible.

Trying to think of something like “word of moth” but it doesn’t really work. Gotta cut back on the catnip.

That was the focus group.

Yesmin got a gold star on her checkup today. Mostly she and her mom and my daughter had more classes on dealing with checking blood glucose levels, counting carbs and giving insulin. She will actually see the doctor on Oct. 15.

Man, the way they’re trippin’, that’s gotta be some good catnip! XD On another note, saw a dragonfly and an orb weaver spider while out walking today. I also heard a chickadee, a squirrel and a tree frog.
