doggone it, but luckily I’m not fond of ketchup

I’ve become a bib man myself!

Sauces and gravies are not exempt.

Food spills are one of the reasons I always wear black.

Or underwear and apricot nectar stains!!

Bib or a napkin usually takes care of that problem ! Me thinks there is a lobster house that hands out bibs before dinner because of breaking open the lobster and lemon / butter ;-)

Cannot eat spagetti without wearing a RED shirt or shirt will be a magnet

Or maybe he had a nosebleed earlier? (Eww! Sorry…)

This is why we bearly wear shirts when eating.

My Murphy’s Law books refer to this as the Law of Selective Gravitation:

Things fall where they will do the most harm.

Good thing I don’t have any white shirts.

Actually it applies to any clean shirt and any food spill. not just white and ketchup. Which is why I don’t like dressing up to go out to eat and don’t like booths.

Never failed: when I worked, if I spilled a spot of tomato sauce on my shirt at lunch, I would meet an unexpected new client in the afternoon.

Pluggers know that.. so they wear a bib when they dine… or, the smarter ones just don’t wear white.

Former SIL used to call those “medals”. ;-)

That’s why, for dining at home, I change into an “eatin’ shirt”. Pre-stained and ready to wear.
