Actually he got it backwards. Flying for real is 1000 times more fun than a computer programs. You cannot truly simulate all of the sensations, though full-motion sims can provide for the lesser ones.
New flight sim? Damn, I was flying Microsoft Flight Simulator v1.x in 1984 on my Compaq Portable Model I. If a PC back then could run Flight Simulator, Lotus 1-2-3, and Wordstar, it was considered 100% IBM PC-compatible.
