What would have made it a really scary party is if Rita had been nice to everybody. They would have been asking each other if Rita had been possessed by some cartoonist. What a frightful thought. Happy Halloween.
One year my friends and I went as Star Wars characters. Our Darth Vader was spectacular! The blinking lights, the breath sounds, the swirling cape, everything! All handmade by the wearer – papier-mâché, metal work, electronics, sewing, all done by the same person. Except she was 5’2". But she sure had the commanding walk/presence. After a while, you forgot she WASN’T Darth Vader. We also did Battlestar Galactica one year (she was a Cylone – with the classic glowing red eye in helmet).
