I need to take a closer look at weighted blankets.

At one time all blankets were weighted, and then they discovered artificial fibers. As they say, “the more things change…”

Personally, I hate heavy covers.

Comfort(ers) come in various guises, allowing the form to fit the need or the comfort to fit the form. I have a fluffy down, and a wool “Bundes Eigentum”, and can’t really pick just one.

I do remember those 2 in thick featherweights that would just FLOAT off the bed!!

I dunno if I’d like blankets that eat. For you know one who eats will soon… er… you know what too.

There is nothing quite as comfortable to be in bed in a cold bedroom under 40 pounds of blankets.

Long ago, they said heavy blankets make you feel tired upon wakening…go figure…..just another sales pitch to sell another product….I say do what makes you comfortable….period.

Blanket feed lot?

The best sleeping experience was as a kid at grandma’s house in the winter. We got to sleep in the big feather bed, topped with a thick, woolen quilt. It was so cozy and warm that it didn’t take long to slip off to dreamland.

I believe it… that’s how my weighted BODY was made

I’ll take a cool bedroom and a nice toasty warm dog to cuddle.

so this is what cotton wool is made of, no wonder blankets and other materials made of cotton, such as sweaters/shirts, pants, underwear, diapers, and socks all feel heavy and look so big

I wanna be a weighed blanket!

Well, this explains a lot.

I love it when we are given a glimpse of life through the eyes of a cartoonist. Fun!

Now I have to be afraid that my weighted blanket will eat me.

Are diabetic blankets made from insolinen?
