News Flash: Christmas comes the same time every year so there’s never any excuse to wait until it’s so last minute that you have to buy something out of desperation for someone that you know without a doubt is absolutely, positively WRONG because the store (whether bricks and mortar or online) is either out of stock, doesn’t have the right size/style/color, or can’t get it delivered to you on time. If you’ve got someone in your life special enough to buy a gift for, then you shouldn’t give them something crappy just because you waited too long and now it’s too late to get them a really good one that you know they would have loved instead! :-/

I don’t know about Marge, but if that were me, I’d rather get nothing at all from my husband of 32 years than to get some terrible, meaningless thing I don’t want and/or can’t use that shows how little he knows, loves or cares about me after being married for as long as we have. Thankfully, though, I don’t have that problem as I know he has always tried to put a lot of consideration into everything he’s ever given me. True, they haven’t all been winners (here’s looking at you, toaster oven!); but that doesn’t really matter. What DOES (matter), is the thought he always puts into each and every one of them in the hopes that it’ll be exactly what I want or need ….. and that’s all that really matters to me! ♥
