After a busy 12 hour shift in the ER, I see this. Just the pick-me-up I need tonight. Thanks!

Yes. When you buy that turkey and all the trimmings, I’ll be there to ring them up and bag them for you. Please wear your mask properly in the store.

My nephew drives a delivery truck for a grocery store chain. Definitely a front-line worker to keep the shelves stocked!

It used to be a joke, to be thankful for the pizza delivery guy. Now it’s a sincere thanks to them and all those that must mix with strangers all day long. Some customers caring and some thinking it’s their right to spread disease.

I was craving a donut today, and walked into an unfamiliar bakery as my usual was closed on Mondays (who knew?). A man came from the back area with his nose in full view over his “mask.” I left. Not covering your nose means you aren’t wearing a mask at all. I wouldn’t have bought even my most favorite donuts if they had them. Thanks to those of you who do consider the rest of us. While masks really don’t inhibit breathing, they aren’t the most comfortable things to wear for long periods of time. We appreciate you! My daughter wears two at work for 10 hours a day plus a face shield and other PPE. It infuriates me to hear people pretend this virus is a joke, hoax, or just not real or maybe like a little cold. Eventually all those deniers are going to cause our hospitals to explode if nothing else changes. Who really doesn’t understand exponential growth? Why feed a virus by allowing yourself to catch it and pass it on when you can avoid it? I never did get a donut, and I am OK with that.
