Had a ridiculous argument once over the concept of hand turkey because the person I was arguing with couldn’t see how it could “become” a turkey so he didn’t believe it was a thing in schools. He must have been in the only grade school that didn’t do at least a version of the hand turkey. He sort of believed me at the end, but still a little skeptical…LOL!
Wow! So ironic – we just got out our laminated Thanksgiving placemats that our boy made when he was in grade school. Yup: the ubiquitous turkey-from-a-traced-hand drawings!
