Ouch…

I do believe we’ve just been “owned”, as the kids these days say.

For a bit of instant gratification, most of the natives will be happy to do all those changes for you….

For someone with all that obvious cranial capacity, this “new owner” is a bit pie-in-the-sky. Is it even possible to have an atmosphere on a planet that has liquid metallic hydrogen oceans?

Uh… the metallic hydrogen won’t last long in a planet that close to the sun. As for methane and ammonia, why not buy Neptune? You could sublet the thirteen moons, or make one big satellite.

TorstenAdair: D’oh! Right. They want to turn Earth into a miniature gas giant.

Nice alternate idea you have there. But wouldn’t it be easier all around to go to some other star and lease a “hot Jupiter” instead? :)

It’s a relative thing. Comparatively pristine.
