    For someone with all that obvious cranial capacity, this “new owner” is a bit pie-in-the-sky. Is it even possible to have an atmosphere on a planet that has liquid metallic hydrogen oceans?

    Uh… the metallic hydrogen won’t last long in a planet that close to the sun. As for methane and ammonia, why not buy Neptune? You could sublet the thirteen moons, or make one big satellite.

    Nice alternate idea you have there. But wouldn’t it be easier all around to go to some other star and lease a “hot Jupiter” instead? :)
