Oh, eye see!

The eye(s) have it!

I am blown away by the artwork. Well done, Aaron!!

So the vortex has now transformed into a face-like form lit with fire from within. I can’t tell in Panel Four what the effect of the eye amulet is having on the Eye/“I” Entity. Duffy can’t watch, but Wally is watching and waiting to see what happens. (Alan is probably collapsed on the floor behind them.)

Looks like the vortex is breaking up in the last two panels. Gotta say, I love it when Aaron does color. Very effective.

Aaron, when you get ready to compile your next volume, please keep these panels in colour!

Panel 2 is very impressive.

Wally seems to notice something’s up and annihilation isn’t going as expected.

I think Wally is seeing something develop inside the fiery face and he is not sure what to make of it?

Did someone bring the camera? We need to get a photo of the haunting as evidence.

The eye has it.

The eye of the storm? The storm of the eye? Eye-eye-eye!!!

Is that some sort of object, (rectangular) spinning around in there? We see it floating around in three of the four frames… which probably means something. Is that…an interdimensional tape recorder?

Kirbee magic.

Well, something’s happening, just don’t know what yet.

Okay. So the rectangles have given way to the toothbrushes.

On another note, haven’t we been in this vortex for most of the year, now? Call me impatient, but it is starting to bug me that the story has been at a standstill for much of the year, now.

Plus, the good doctor gone, no more back story, either.

Brushguy may be breaking up. It’s not us, it’s you.

Kirbee gave the amulet to Chic who gave it to Duffy 25 September of last year. MAN! That’s a long time!

The amulet comes from Kirby at Unity, which is where “I” first manifests itself in any way but dreams, right? Is there any sign of it during all the tragedies at Endtown? At what point did Wally start dreaming about it?Kirby has an established belief in “haints,” which rather comes out of nowhere, except that she is portrayed as a hick.

I’ll say one thing for Duffy – he’s got gumption.
