I would fail for a different reason. Most Hairdressing Schools use each other as test dummies. And if anyone came at me with scissors… to cut my past-the-tailbone hair… well… I would be in jail for a while… as I plea Self Defense!
Which is why I take a book when I have to finally give in and have something done to my hair. If you take out your hearing aides, stick your nose in a book and tell the girl that she will have to get your attention it she needs to tell you something, it spares you being told what some pop tart, whose name you don’t actually recognize, is up to.

Go date a fisherman or two. You will learn from them how to stretch a story and still make it interesting.

So she got kicked out of hairdressing school because she flunked gossip. Big deal. I got kicked out of law school because I PASSED my ethics exam.

A friend is a hairdresser who takes it all very seriously. I learned the hard way not to joke about “Beauty Con.”
