@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , our HERO Mr Andrew Capp is such a wimp that a girl chucked him out of the pub :o) my avatar is a statement that so far this is the oldest I’ve ever been , obvious innit? but I intend to get older now that I am the only living person from my generation on my dad’s side , how was your day ? our Finally Friday should be busy but calm I hope, it’s stopped raining and we have no errands to run and expecting no visits , keep safe and thanks for caring pal
Hi Affi. my oldest son called me today and he has tested positive for Covid-19. He was put on 15 days paid leave. My second son lives in Japan and the youngest died of cancer. But life goes on. They are putting the country in lock-down. I don’t care because I can watch movies and look forward to your comments. Say hello to Connie for me. Talk to you ttomorrow
Long time ago, when I was 11, a girl of the same age who I called “Pixie” (because everyone else did…) asked me to walk her to Woolworth’s because she needed to buy hatpins. “But you don’t wear hats”, I said. It took me a few minutes to get the reason for her evil but cute smile.

The weak feminine barmaids gave way to the strong feminine ones.

And here I thought that Andy wanted a womanly shoulder to carry his life’s troubles away. She certainly carried him away to the street.

Smythe’s Andy would never be in that situation!

@Afficionado
I remember you told me that a psychic said you would live until you were 93. Now that you’ve given up smoking, I feel she could very well be right.
I’m 26 on the 16th Dec. And I already feel old. I started feeling like that when I turned 20.
As you know, I’m not here at the weekend so enjoy your favourite nosh today, pal. Stay safe, stay well and stay happy. Love to Bella.

It must be tough for a barmaid to be feminine when she’s constantly having to deal with drunken louts.
