I’m not so sure Adam is all that wrong here. Sometimes people need a nudge to make them see other people are, is some way, depending on them. I get Laura’s embarrassment too, but I’ll bet she eats a cookie or two, if they appear.

If Garrett comes over with cookies at some point, don’t answer the door; run to the back bedroom of the house and hide under the bed and let Adam do the greeting. This way you can save your self respect…..

Whelp. Now there’s no chance of ANY cookies

I was speculating that the cookies just haven’t made it there yet and Adam was gonna be embarrassed when it happens, but I think that bridge just went up in smoke. And if it did happen, it may be a good idea to have them tested.

The “said” neighbors should go to a store that sells almost out of date products, buy stale old cookies of any sort and leave them on the doorstep in an old box from the garage that smells like car oil. Oh, and include a package of decaf coffee beans.

Adam may have suffered brain damage from the caffeine overdose of last week.

He’s left decorum far behind.
