The voice of experience. On two ends , no less.

It’s not really a problem until it either starts to rot or puts out roots and shoots.

There’s one thing that I didn’t experience during my childhood, and didn’t even know about.

Working with kids that age is never dull. Frustrating some times, but never dull.

Never had anything stuck up my nose, but my boss sure stuck his head up my a$$ enough times.

In my elementary school, a very long time ago, a kid put one of those mini pickles up his nose and got to go the the hospital.

Son #1 – corn. Son #2 – chunk of Nerf ball. Son #3 – bean. No ER, though; all Dad-retrievable with tweezers or hemostats.

AFAIK, none of the grandkids – yet……..

In kindergarten I had a tiddly-wink that worked its way up the Eustachian tube to where I could feel it in my ear, then back down to the back of my throat whence I sneezed it out.

Kidiots.

Ew! On that note, my son once put some foam from his mattress up his nose once. It took a few weeks to realize he had done this. By the time we took him to the doctor, it was because of a foul odor coming from it.
