I took a count today. I’ve been out of the house a total of 10 times since last March. And 5 of those were to the Eye and Ear Doctors.

I’m so tired of this. And people who don’t follow the guidelines. My neighbor across the street had a big Thanksgiving dinner with grandkids and everyone. 5 cars worth. We’ll never get out of this at this rate. Sigh.

Rose, I hope the people ignoring the guidelines for gatherings are not also going to refuse to get vaccinated. Alas I suspect that is the case.

Chesney, let Annie do her homework. Go take a nap!

Small Business Saturday

National French Toast Day. I LOVE French toast, but I seldom make it. I should make some today.

To MTCS from yesterday – I LOVE these chair socks! And I do know how to crochet and I have a LOT of yarn. The only thing I don’t have is a lot of time. And when I’m not at work, I don’t have a lot of extra energy. I tend to fall asleep a lot a couple hours or so after I get home from work.

THAT IS A PHONEY APPLICATION. Annie brought 10 homeless kitties to the warehouse. She need not apply as their caretaker! Why, I’d like to get my hands (paws) on that little orange trouble maker and……. taking deep breath …. feeling calmer ….

I saw three deer cross Hwy. 101 in the middle of Lincoln City this morning. Mom and 3 older fawn.

THEN, on the way home this afternoon i got to see a Great Blue Heron standing with its wings out sunning like a Cormorant! Those guys are BIG! :)

I wonder how long it took Chesney to forge that phony file. Seems like a lot of work just to hassle Annie. On another note, saw two towhees, a rabbit, and four varied thrushes while out walking today.

Yesterday our weather person said it would be 18 degrees Monday morning. So today I ran the extension cords to the horse water trough and another to the bird bath. Got the heaters attached, but did not plug them in today. I will do that tomorrow. Then tonight they changed the forecast to 32 degrees Monday morning, but the high will be 37. so I will plug in the heaters (expected 22 on Tuesday morning). I also detached the water hoses. I emptied the hose after filling the horse trough, holding it high in the air and walking the length that way. I just fill the bird bath with a jug of warm water from the house. So I am ready for winter to arrive in west Tennessee. Well, just ready, not happy about it.
