I agree with Eno. Even though I wouldn’t have been rude. I find it awkward standing there while people are singing at you. Don’t like it in restaurants either. Otherwise, Merry Christmas.
In Morro Bay, there’s this weird tradition where a flat-bed truck carries a choir around the neighborhoods before Christmas. It is “escorted” by police cars and fire engines with flashing lights. Considering how steep the neighborhood is, I can’t see that being a fun gig for the singers. I guess you have to be at least upper-middle-class to associate flashing emergency lights with “good cheer”.

Grinch and Scrooge all wrapped up into one. That is shameful Eno.

That was pretty rude. At best he could have offered them some hot cocoa.

Way to go, Eno. You can keep Christ in Christmas, but keep Christmas outa my face.

Yeah, how do you get rid of carolers? I’m not un-Christmas-y, I just don’t want to hold the door open all night.

Everybody needs to give them eggnog with bourbon and watch their progress through the evening.

Go away! You have been here every evening since Thanksgiving.

I haven’t heard if caroling has been blocked in any communities this year. Be grateful if it isn’t where you live.
