Panel #3 is a very recognizable drawing of a GTO front end. Did not even need the explanation of what it is above the drawing.
And what is that all about? A really rich kid? A cherry ’66 GTO would be worth over $100K, I can not see any parent, no matter how rich, handing the keys to a cherry ’66 GTO. It would be like handing your kid the keys to a Ferrari
The kids I work with refer to me as the GOAT, before I realized what it means now, I thought they were comparing me to a ’66 Pontiac GTO. Me I would rather have a Deuce and a quarter Buick.
My cousin had a ‘67 GTO and used to let me drive it. At 17, I probably wasn’t a good enough driver to handle all that power, but I never had an accident in it, so it turned out okay.
I had to look up ‘tri-power’. I had never heard that before and thought it was something R&W had pulled out of the air. All we ever said was ‘three deuces’ for that set up.
If it’s a familiar sound, why is he bringing up the loudness as if he never heard it before? And what’s with his hand in P2? It reminds me of the wooden hand that Chubbs, the ex-golfer guy that gives Happy Gilmore lessons, had.
And speaking of wooden hands, wooden you like to give me a hand, after reading today’s Mopped Up Thorp?

Doug Guthrie had better do all his Quickie-Mart shopping now. That GTO won’t look so great once Del Bader gets released from prison.

P1, Moe, Larry and Curley hear Arlo’s arrival from a mile away.
P2, Arlo and Alfalfa exchange the secret Kung Fu Grip.
P3, Six more payments, gentlemen, and this beautiful blue ’66 Pontiac GTO is all mine!

Funny thing is he backed the car up into its spot as well in P3 but didn’t do a great job with that since it encroaches into P2 as well.

Yesterday, I predicted 1968 Chevy Chevelle.
P3- Fist Pump Family lurks in anticipation, all for naught. Vin Diesel is not walking through The Bucket door.

All he needs is sign in the back window (no need to ruin a car with a bumper sticker) that sez “Too Loud? …Too Bad”

Back in ancient times when I was in HS, a kid with a car like that was usually the last kid you would see takin’ orders from someone like Gil

I just noticed. He’s wearing an actual racing jacket? Maybe he’ll be a NASCAR fanatic, I guess that would be new for this strip.
