Unfortunately, there’s a lot of truth to this strip (not in my house, though). I remember growing up in the 60’s. My mom was one of 6 sisters, and they were brought up in a country home where they took care of their “menfolk”, just like in the strip above. Different times, I guess.

The question that comes up in my mine is "They live in a “modern” home, why don’t they have a dishwasher…?"
