Hey, if Brainzo is what it takes to get the strip back to the earlier self-mocking and knowing winks at modern culture that made it so wonderful once upon a time, I am all for he, she, it, being a permanent part of the strip! Keep it coming, DanT!
I give him my permission to bring in my giant spider from last month’s DICK TRACY story. But only if it tap dances and yodels ‘Last Dance’ in esperanto.
I like how Dan breaks the fourth wall in admitting how ridiculous some readers have found this storyline. Hilarious. XD As for me, I’ll always enjoy reading Rip Haywire, no matter how silly it gets.
Brainzo is like the Great Gazoo from “The Flintstones”; charming at first but he quickly worn out his welcome to the point where the audience wonders why he was charming in the first place…well, at least this audience member (with all due respect to the late Harvey Korman).
I will hold off to see where this leads. As others have said, breaking the fourth wall is a good thing in this case, and Christmas is coming, so maybe there’s some “Christmas Carol” magic at play. I worry Brainzo could take away from adventuring, however. Still, I’m hanging with Dan.

LOL!!!!
No sooner do I promise to lay off commenting for a while, than DanT steps up to the plate and knocks one out of the park!
I simply have to break my promise so I can shout out Kudos! Kudos! Ka-Kudos, DanT! Once again you are one of my heroes!
I sincerely apologize for all of my snark and wish you and all your readers an incredible and happy holiday season!

Geez what a deus ex outer-space machine-ah. If I see this brainzo once again, I’m unfollowing.

Let’s get through Christmas, but then let’s get rid of Brainzo. He takes the fun out of adventuring.

I guess it we all have to get Brainzo-ed again this, at least, is getting more interesting. (But I agree: after the holidays, Brainzo needs Brainz-go)

Instead of being a man-child, Rip is now a child-child.

I’ve been reading this for about two years, is Brainzo a regular thing?

Shouldn’t Brainzo go home? Doesn’t his planet need him or something?

I think Dan went off his meds again. This should be interesting.

Ooh! Ooh! I want a crossover with either Paul Dini’s Jingle Belle or George Broderick’s Christmas Eve!

Is it just me, or does Rip-As-A-Kid look like Steven Universe?
