Holy crap! He’s using the knife of his long dead father like a common chisel.

They’ll cover the hole with a Rita Hayworth poster!

That should keep the knife’s point nice and sharp.

What?! Tarzan gives up an opportunity to kill lions? No way!

“Great work, Tarz.. Yeow! My hand!!”

How nice of prince charming to stand there watching for hours and not help chisel with his spear.

Andy would be proud of how fast he got it done!

Tarzan will have to give a lot of care to Father’s Magic Knife, after using it as a chisel for “hours.”

The knife is now dull, much like the story line.

Since the other guy did not help out with his spear, at least that has stayed sharp. But interesting that he’s been in prison for some time and never tried to dig his way out? That’s to show how Tarzan is smarter than anyone else.

The lions breath a sigh of relief. But don’t get too complacent, lions. That one-man megafauna extinction event known as Tarzan of the Apes will get around to tanning your hides, sooner or later.

Does the other guy… I forget his name, if he has one… look a lot like Flash Gordon? Was there a connection in the original comics as to the artist?

Out comes the magic knife and soon Tarzan and his new best bud will be out wreaking havoc on Alure and Ludon’s wedding extravaganza. Better get a move on boys before the nuptials are completed! I wonder if any angry Bolganis, hungry Sabre-Toothed Lions, or annoyed Wooly Tantors will show up as uninvited attendees……..

Not only has the magic knife reappeared, but so has the magic Coleman lantern that lights the cell up so they can see what they’re doing.

I think Tarzan meant that it’s odd they weren’t disarmed.
