It is much easier to start shopping for Christmas presents on the day after Boxing Day!! That way, they can “search” to their hearts content and still won’t find anything!!

Why of course not…I’m not sneaky at all. I resent the implication that I have any inclination even towards that general direction. (Guess I better quit now before I protest too much, but no, not even the slightest bit sneaky. Honest.)

Last time I peeked was in 7th grade. Found what I wanted so terribly; then knowing ruined Christmas morning for myself. Never peeked again! ;)

My sister in law was the worst She would find her presents, unwrap and then carefully rewrap them. Her mom had to hide them in her neighbors car trunk

I have fun with deductions, like asking my wife if I could learn to use what she got me one year. Her “Yes” meant it was probably a musical instrument, and I guessed a balalaika from the shape of the box. She put the Irish harp and its box inside a larger box a couple years later. (No, I don’t play either of them, after all – if I didn’t have more I want to do with an hour a day than practice, I’d get the piano tuned and revive my skills there). Printing on the side of one box when it arrives may have tipped it off, and I have a comment ready, but don’t mind it being something else. HAD a good guess what she got me from Barnes & Noble, but she said she got the same thing for a workmate whose kids would also like it. Package weight, size, and the fact that I asked my sister for it suggest I’m right about one from her.
