Shanghai Shipping Company “S-Cargo, the original slow boat from China.”
The company I work for does get some of its parts from China. I do believe they must be using Shanghai Shipping. For that reason we are sourcing more American Parts. They may be more expensive, but at least they arrive in the same decade as when they are ordered.
We can write off getting any parts from China until March. Chinese New Year is coming up and the whole country shuts down.
Forty years ago I got to be an extra in a movie set at the 1980 US Olympic trials. I was one of the spectators in the stands. Before shooting the director told us to shout enthusiastically as the runners went by. He said he didn’t care what we shouted, just so long as it was loud. So I leaned over the railing and shouted at Mariel Hemingway, “You left the oven on!”

Happened to us once – got 5 miles into a trip, and me missus started to wonder if she’d turned the iron off. .

I’ve turned back for reason such as this! Scary to think when you come home there is no home…..

My wife always unplugs the toaster. So, one day I asked her if she unplugged the stove. She’s been on meds ever since.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m pondering how they plug the iron in in the first place! :D

Stop at a shell station and call your neighbor to check.

I don’t have to worry about that, my wife doesn’t know how to turn the iron on!
