You would think that Arlo and Janis lived in Louisiana!

Are his eyes watering? Awwww.

How are the kids? Haven’t seen them in the strip for a while.

I hope I’ve been able to influence my son. By watching me he should have learned what not to do.

Now, what’s in the other box?

There goes JJ, making us think again. We all try, but you wonder if you did your best, and if your best was good enough.

Gimme that good ole creole cooking. (I am a Yankee but I got hooked on it while at Air Force Tech School in Biloxi, MS.)

This will be My first Christmas without my Dad. Reflections of his influence will be part of it. Some teary eyes are sure to follow.

Crawfish Etoufee has that same effect on me.

Our son in CA will make delicious looking meals and send us a pic but we never get a taste.

My wife doesn’t eat anything that had more than four legs or fins.

I won’t eat anything with an exoskeleton…….er……….except shrimp or lobster.

Those look like the tears of a clownfish.

I always had the impression that A&J were from somewhere in the Midwest – I would have guessed Iowa. This is why I shouldn’t presume anything about anyone.

My two cents and sense worth is that the kids live somewhere between Biloxi and Gulfport in the state of Mississippi and that Gus’ restaurant was on the gulf coast of that state.

Also, according to Wikipedia, JJ owns a home in Pass Christian, which is actually west of Gulfport.

Being a great gift giver is usually a learned or absorbed trait from a very special person….

So many things that sound kind of good that I’ll never get to try. Deadly seafood allergies. :(

Why does Janis not say “our” son at least once? A little odd!

And yesterday we thought Arlo was into Dry Ice, we find today it is Cajun Food…..“Cher” “Fais do-do.” AHHH EEE!

Every now and then Janis says just the right thing!

My daughter is a much better baker then me. She makes not only stuff I showed her how to make. She also makes cheesecake, and other fancy desserts.

Shouldn’t that be “crawfish in-your-face?”
